character (wearing a hat) on a blue and red base. It is about 11"

The phone looks like a large
order of McDonald's french fries. The box is red and sticking out of the
top of the box are six french fries. The box and french fries are made of
plastic. With a push of a button, this imitation box of fries converts to
a working telephone. This phone was originally a premium offer of Ore Ida
Fast Fries around 1992. On the front of the phone, it says 'French Fry
Phone'. On the back is a paper label endorsing Ore Ida Fast Fries. |

each having the McDonalds logo (Golden Arches) on them. White pushbuttons
with red lettering are on his back. Golden Arches are molded in above the
buttons and have holes under the arches to hear the phone. There are also
holes near the back of his knees to talk into. It has a white coiled cord. |

The #1 phone came over from
Taiwan or China in the 1980's. It was a plain white phone in the shape of
#1. The dial pad was on the bottom. It looks like a cheapy. Companies
would then buy these phones in quantity and have their own logos stamped
or painted on the phone. There are many out there including Hertz, Murry
Homes, 7-Up, Computer Associates, CompuServe, TV Guide, and TANG (painted
fully orange). |

A promotional telephone from
Qantas Airlines. Made completely in Australia. A furry koala wearing an
outback felt hat, one hand holds the phone, the other hand holds an
Australian flag. The koala is standing on Ayer's Rock, a famous Australian
landmark. He is wearing a yellow t-shirt with "Ozzie Koala"
written on it. |

a 5 x 9 inch black and white checkered phone base floor. A small 7-up logo

This was a "Canada
only" promotional phone for TANG orange drink. Tang Man stands about
8 inches tall on a round plastic base. His head is a pair of huge red
lips. He is wearing sneakers. Both hands are giving "thumbs up."
On the base is written "TANG." Push buttons are on the bottom of
base. |
