Risqué – Warning, Warning, Warning This is just a small sample of the mildly erotic Telephone related material available - I have left out any "Downright Rude" items. They are interesting though, in the sense that they portray some of our provocative thoughts but with a sense of humour.
The Erotica Telephone was made in Hong Kong in the 1980s. It has all the usual touchtone features under the plastic base, which looks like a metallic pile of leaves on rock. It may be slightly embarrassing though, to be caught using the phone; listening near her chest and talking into her fig leaf.
Just a few risqué picture/postcards
1. “Operator – Give me a wrong number” 2. “Talk about ingratitude: - he never says a word about the times he hasn’t found other men here” 3. A very early 1900's French postcard with a topless woman talking on a telephone that looks very much like an early Ericsson.
“??????
I’d like to see someone about my bill”
A risqué storyline A
1950's series of 10 "postcards" depicting a risqué office story
with the telephone in picture. Some
may see this as voyeurism, and they might be right but I also think this (complete) postcard set is
just another interesting by-product of the impact of the telephone in our
society.
