| After spending a nice Orthodox Easter in Thessalonika (aka Thessaloniki) we leave Greece and into Turkey. We enjoyed Greece with their love of blue and white for buildings and houses; an abundance of white in the cemeteries and their prominent blue & white flag. We met nice people and enjoyed the foods - Greek salads almost mandatory for the first plate. And of course, their ancient historic sites are most memorable. |
