| A fellow traveller recommended a visit to Szentendre; a medieval town with interesting old buildings and cobbled streets. It was interesting but just a little bit over the top with wall to wall tourist shops and restaurants. I suppose we are tourists but it is nicer if we can avoid the tourist crowds, but not so here. The stopover at the park on the Danube was a nice place and particularly popular with youth groups. |
