| We had booked in to Somerset in February but after record rainfalls and serious flooding in SEQ and Northern NSW, Lake Somerset was closed to all use for a few weeks. The first few pictures show why the park had to be closed. We have always tried to get to Somerset after heavy rain, but this one beat them all and the Red Claw were prolific - most we've ever seen, catching a total of 1685 and probably releasing approx 700 small or females.. |
